This adapter is constructed of PETG.  PETG is durable, impact resistant, and tolerates temperatures up to 160 F.
This product will not melt in your car in the summer, and is also resistant to chemicals. The adapter is shown as an example   adapting a Honeywell N-series filter to a 3M mask.
